Theme For 2013: Metamorphosis—Break Through

Once transformed, a butterfly can never go back to its larvae or pupae form. May the year 2013 be a powerful year where I walk closely with the LORD Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" We must crucify our own self and never turn back to our past sinful habits. Matthew 16:25 say, "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.”

Genesis 19:23-26 proclaim, "By the time Lot reached Zoar, the sun had risen over the land. Then the Lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the Lord out of the heavens. Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, destroying all those living in the cities—and also the vegetation in the land. But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt." We must remember Lot's wife's example. There is no turning back to the old life.

"Satan Trembles When He Sees The Weakest Christian On His Knees." By William Cowper

“One day George Mueller began praying for five of his friends. After many months, one of them came to the Lord. Ten years later, two others were converted. It took 25 years before the fourth man was saved. Mueller persevered in prayer until his death for the fifth friend, and throughout those 52 years he never gave up hoping that he would accept Christ! His faith was rewarded, for soon after Mueller’s funeral the last one was saved."

Commitment To Discipleship In The Midst Of Transition 2013

You are the Architect of my life.
Began my 2013 by building an Ikea wooden cabinet with my brother. There were so many components. On many occasions, I could not understand why my brother took certain specific procedures and seemingly overlooked some essential steps (which he would later complete/compensate). However, Sam was patient in instructing and assuring me that he would eventually return to complete some of the steps he seemingly skipped initially. As he began to fit each components together, everything fell into place and we proudly completed our construction of the cabinet - our handiwork. In 2012, very often I could not comprehend what the Almighty was doing initially. When I first went to Christ Church Secondary School to teach as a Relief Allied Educator, or when I ventured to Philippines for missions and transited to BMTC School & Officer Cadet School. Only by grace, I could fully grasp the magnificence of God's will - His good, pleasing and perfect will (Romans 12:2) in the course of time.
