Matthew 21:13 says, "It is written," he said to them, "My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers."

Romans 13:14 says, "Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature."

Matthew 6:33 says,"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
Today, God gave me a new bike through my Alumni brothers from Christ Church (20 Aug 2010). "O LORD, you just gave me a bike for my birthday?" Truly, He has been faithfully meeting my needs through the birthday gifts. Lost my bike recently and I was asking God if I should get a new one soon. Van and Xiang Yi bought me a running shirt. LIFE purchased a G-Shock stopwatch which now replaces my spoiled Ironman watch. Followed by a new tights from A.J as my old tights was getting loosed.

(xi) Go on a long-term mission trip with my future wife
(xii) Witness my Dad and family confess that Jesus is LORD together as One and be baptized with my Dad on the same day and in same water.

Numbers 14:17 says,"Now may the Lord's strength be displayed, just as you have declared"
Eric Liddell once said, "God made me fast and when I run, I feel His pleasure. To win is to honor Him." Uncle Oliver introduced this film ,Chariots of Fire, to me recently. The film portrays the life of Eric, the first Olympic GOLD medalist who represented England. God made this man so fast and surrounded him with His glory but Eric never failed to point all glory back to the Almighty God! There was once when the King gave an order for him to run in a competition that fell on a Sabbath day. Eric Liddell rejected the King's decree and went to church to worship God like any other day. That incident was soon reported across the whole nation. Everyone witnessed the faith of this Olympian who chose to honor God and not run on a Sabbath.
From now on, I want to run to win for God and display His strength through my weaknesses! Aaron and I always talk about this, "Will God ever let us win big races?" I believe "YES, why not?!" and I shall claim God's promises step by step as I will run and pray and not faint. Sometimes it grieves me to look at people who win races and then, point all glory back to themselves and their own effort. You know what? By God's grace, I would rather be that person who wins those races and point all glory and honour and power all back to our LORD Jesus Christ!

Luke 9:23 says,"Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me."
Crucifixion story of our LORD Jesus Christ embodies the most famous and magnificent irony ever recorded in history. Jesus was a carpenter. He spent almost 30 years of his life learning carpentry from his Dad, Joseph and making furniture as a livelihood. He worked with nails, wood and hammer almost everyday (probably got his Bachelor in Architecture by the age of 12). Ironically, Jesus was crucified (for our sins) by the Roman soldiers using the very same tools that he himself uses almost everyday. Likewise, the very people whom He loved were the ones who nailed Him onto the cross.
