Ecclesiastes 12:13 says, "Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind."

A Christian living without God is worst than a swimmer swimming in a pool without water.

Jeremiah 17:9 says, "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?"

Thank God for a wonderful week : )

Good news, PEOPLE! Before God can save you, He must kill you!

Sounds like a plan huh? You guys must be staring at me right now? Haha, allow me to explain a little (i really mean a little). God's word mentions many times that we have to take up the cross, die to ourselves and crucify our sinful nature... God always talk about how we must 'die' before we can truly follow him (if you read the bible properly). To follow God, our sinful nature must FIRST die!

Ephesians 6:17 says,"Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

"I once thought that God was my greatest weapon, but recently I realize I am God's greatest weapon!"

From Sarah: "I am a Child of God, who happens to be a student. Not the other way around!"

"O Lord, thank You for the opportunity to go back to CHR yesterday and met the younger ones today during the OPEN House. Show them where You want them to go, not where people tell them to go or where Satan wants them to go. Open doors that only you can shut and close doors that only you can open! Bless and watch over Jonathan, Isaac, Hannah, Gerald & Gabriel, Melissa and Rachel Toh and the rest! Guide them to a new family, a new prayer group and a new strong tower wherever they go. On this note, I thank You for providing me with Sarah, A.J, Beth, Van and Han. For those who did not do well, assure them that Jeremiah 29:11 still holds and still intact! Your will is sovereign and true and great and unstoppable! Amen!"

Romans12:1 says, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will."

Philippians 3:7 says,"But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.."

"Reputation. Takes a lifetime to build, seconds to destroy.
All I once thought gain, I have counted loss"

Matthew 4:4 says,"Jesus answered,"It is written, 'Man does not leave on bread alone but on every word that comes out from the mouth of God.' "

'Where we were working was hot, dirty, and it smelled bad. We had traveled thousands of miles to do some work projects, and on this day we were painting the back of a classroom building at a school for the deaf. The only people who would ever see this part of the building would be the guy who cut the grass and any unfortunate person who would have to work on the septic pit.
Yet, as the young adults diligently painted away, one of the ladies, Stephanie, put it in perspective by saying, "Nobody will ever come back here to see this, but God will see it. So let's make it look nice." And so we did.'
Whatever we do, it is not for men to see, but God-He alone!

Psalm 63:1 says, "You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you,my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water."

The BB Primers' Challenge officially ended on 29 December 2010. Was remarkably astounded by how God challenged me in so many ways during this overwhelmingly breathtaking trip. Waterfall Abseiling. White Water Rafting. Caving. We ventured into Temperung Wet Cave for a two-hours tour but I gave up halfway. I was afraid not because of the darkness that shrouded my vision, but that fact that I was losing my sight. My heart kept pounding abnormally. Though I doubted and feared tremendously, I persevered in prayer and managed to finish the second Cave Tour. I spoke to God every single second I was in there. God mentioned the command: 'Do not fear' 365 different times in the Bible. If He says it so many times, I think He must be serious about it. By His awakening grace, I overcame the darkness for Christ shines in my life.
Followed by Year-End Evaluation Chalet with my BB Brothers at Navigators HQ. Thank God that Aaron was able to make it. BBQ. Running. Reading. East Coast. Napping. Mary Joke. Guitar. Yesterday, I ended off 2010 with the movie Stardust and pizza (I paid for everything! Pouts) with Yu Jie and Darryl Sw. Had a great time talking and learning guitar from Darryl. Sw has always been one of the soldiers in God's army that I always respect and love working with. Pray that we can both get our road bikes and go for long distance cycling soon.
